Rooming Lists
Preliminary rooming list for multi-day tours must be received by e-mail to info@isafoldtravel.is or by fax to Isafold Travel at +354-544 8866 no later than 8 weeks prior to the client's arrival, and a final rooming list at least 4 weeks prior to client's arrival.

Deposit
A deposit of 10% of the tour price is required within 7 days from confirmation of a booking if not agreed differently. When price includes international flights a deposit of 25% is required. We recommend at this time all passengers take out comprehensive travel insurance.

Terms of Payment
Full payment (less deposit) shall reach IT at least 6 weeks prior to arrival of guests. In case of further delay on payments, IT will reserve the right to treat this as a cancellation and withdraw its confirmation of the services. Isafold Travel accepts credit card payments through Visa or Mastercard.

Validity of Prices
After the invoice for a custom tour has been issued the price is guaranteed against any surcharge, unless an increase is due to government laws or currency changes. Isafold Travel will absorb an increase of 10% of the package price due to government laws or currency changes after the invoice has been issued until it has been balanced. Amounts which exceed these 10% will be charged but clients will be entitled to cancel their booking with a full refund. After the invoice has been balanced no increase of the price is possible.

Cancellation
All cancellations must be made by e-mail, fax or letter. In conformity with business practices within the Icelandic travel industry, the travel agent is obliged to charge cancellation fees to passenger(s) as follows (in addition to deposit):

More than 6 weeks prior to arrival: None
Less than 6 weeks and more than 4 weeks: 15%
Less than 4 weeks and more than 2 weeks: 25%
Less than 2 weeks and more than 72 hours: 50%
Less than 72 hours and more than 24 hours: 75%

Less than 24 hours notice: 100%

Liability
Isafold Travel disclaims responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, sickness or schedule change caused by weather, strike or any other irregularity outside Isafold Travel’;s control. Isafold Travel reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times, without prior notice, should the necessity arise. We advise all clients to have insurance, as clients are on their own responsibility on optional tours, such as riding tours and snow scooter tours.

Applicable Law
This tour contract is subject to Icelandic law only.
