The dynamic tour operator Isafold Travel was established in 1997 with the idea to offer quality and personal service to small groups. Isafold Travel is fully licensed by the Icelandic government and the company is a member of SAF, the Icelandic Travel Industry Association.
The company Isafold Travel is owned by the couple Jón Baldur Þorbjörnsson and Auðbjörg Bergsveinsdóttir. The name Isafold means "Ice field", a poetic name for Iceland.

The location
Isafold Travel is located in Garðabær, a suburb of the southern Reykjavík Area. The building where we work is divided into the travel office on the upper floor where we tailor and arrange your trips, and a maintenance hall on the ground floor where we work on the vehicles and keep them in top condition.
